They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:14) This is the Scripture verse which adorns the new stained glass window that has been recently installed in the east sacristy. The window, a gift of Cyril and Faye Kolmer, honors the five Adorers of the Blood of Christ of the Ruma Province who were martyred in Liberia in the Fall of 1992. The sisters, Mary Joel Kolmer, Shirley Kolmer, Kathleen McGuire, Agnes Mueller and Barbara Ann Muttra, were ministering to the native peoples through prayer, education and health care. The window will soon be dedicated. The entire parish thanks Cy and Faye for this very beautiful and fitting memorial. |
